No external component is needed to render the menu. As a consequence, it is less suited for drop-down style menu's. But the huge advantage is that it can give very clear and compact html code which is ideal for search engines and the visually impaired. The same component can also be used to create a site map, since a site map is just a menu completely opened. The Side Menu is a standard module and comes for free with the emagiC CMS.Net framework.
